Close Quarters is a classic long form of improvisation.

The main element of the form is that all scenes are existing more or less simultaneously in adjacent spaces, i.e. if the show is a hour long, it might only cover 15 minutes of real time, and the first scene in the show will often be one of the last chronologically.

Another huge element of the form is a focus on character & game heightening.

It’s a form that really tunes up your team work and side support as well as flexing some essential muscles including organic scene work and non expositional storytelling.

Indiana is an expert at the form having performed and trained in it for years. Indi will help you with your scene work, your character work, and game within the context of this super fun form.

About the instructor(s)

While we don’t anticipate having to change the instructor after registrations open, please be aware that this may happen from time to time.
