Instructor Profile
Daniel Pavatich
Dan Pavatich is a Raw Comedy 2016 VIC state finalist, has written and performed three solo shows, served as head writer for Champagne Factory (TIC - Melbourne) and Sketchy at Best (ITs - Sydney) and has performed as an ensemble member with Improv Theatre Sydney, The Big HOO-HAA! (Melbourne), Improv Against Humanity, Bear Attack and The Improv Conspiracy (Melbourne); where he was a teacher, coach and touring director (incl. Now Showing: The Improvised Movie which was Nominated for Best Comedy @ Perth Fringe). Dan has been teaching comedy (Improv, Performance, Sketch and Development) for a long time and likes simple solutions/techniques that let students focus on finding their joy (AKA their individuality).
Dan has studied with Impro Melbourne, The Improv Conspiracy, iO - Chicago, The Pack Theatre, SecondCity - Chicago & Hollywood, The Annoyance Theatre - Chicago and with most of his heroes. Dan is co-owner of Emergent Entertainment, which develops independent comedy content. I love comedy, and I love the people that do it. Let’s get weird!
