Sometimes, in improv scenes, we start with something and then drop it because we fear it’s not interesting enough. We may insert a problem to try and make the scene go somewhere, not trusting that already have so much right there in-front of us. Never mistake those first few moments of a scene as unimportant. There is always so much that we have to dig deeper and invest into. This class will help you to trust and invest in what you have instead of inventing or looking outside the scene for something better to talk about.

Instructor Profile

Indiana Kiely

Indiana started her improv journey with TIC in 2015 to insert fun into her life whilst completing a Masters of Politics. Since her first taste, she's been feverishly passionate about all things improv and enjoys the unlimited creativity that comes with the art form. Indi has quickly racked up many hours of stage experience and training in many house teams and indie projects. She is also a member of FEMMILY who have won Indie Team of the year two years in a row. Indi excels at bold physical characters on stage as well as grounded emotion driven scenes.
