Simon McCulloch Performer Details
A shifty yet trustworthy Tasmanian immigrant, Simon crossed the Bass Straight a few years ago with nothing more than a “borrowed” van and a pile of soon to be useless artifacts from the Old World (mostly pairs of shiny, shiny Wu-Tang brand denim).
Before getting anywhere near the Improv Conspiracy’s stages, he spent years on years on years (three) hanging around behind microphones at Hobart’s community broadcaster Edge Radio, ill advisedly being “that friend/guy/idiot” who thought his taste in music was far better than yours. It wasn’t.
But then came improv, and nothing was the same. After the tears and the blood from months on months of training stopped flowing (of joy – tears and… blood… of joy!), he just couldn’t stuff this thing away in that cupboard he forever keeps those shiny Wu-Tang jeans.
