Ashleigh is still fairly new to the improv world, but started exploring comedy as a member of the 2011 Deakin Comedy Revue, a scripted sketch comedy. The following year she co-directed and performed in the 2012 Comedy Revue & received a glowing review stating that "Ashleigh has impeccable timing and wit and is someone to watch out for" (The Herald Sun, 2012). She was then invited to join the cast of "Skitheads" as part of the 2013 MICF.
Ashleigh is currently working as a Drama teacher, teaching Year 7 through to VCE. She loves performing weekly and enjoys learning activities in training that she can use with her students!
Ashleigh has now been a part of 4 Melbourne International Comedy Festivals & 1 Melbourne Fringe Festivals. She joined The Big Hoo-Haa (Melbourne) in August 2012 and started workshops with The Improv Conspiracy in October 2012.
