When snubbed for a part in her high school musical production of Annie (like, not even an orphan), Georgie immediately gave up on the creative industries. She then ungave up when she discovered filmmaking but immediately gave up again when she didn’t get into film school.
Following an established government career and motherhood, she decided to ungive-up on the arts thing and was accepted into the VCA screenwriting masters. This single act of ungive-upping launched Georgie into film, TV and theatre where she has furthered her skills in comedy writing, performing and filmmaking, including writing and directing a short comedy film and becoming part of TIC’s Churn show.
Georgie proves that so long as you keep ungive-upping you can make it at least out the front door, that failure is part of success, and that little orphan Annie can go suck an egg.
