Jess Budin

Jess Budin

Jess Budin is a stage and screen writer, producer and sketch comedy performer living in Naarm since 2011. They attained their Bachelors degree at RMIT University in 2016, during which they crewed and wrote for RMITV/Channel 31 television comedy variety programs productions, including "Offbeat", "The Leak" and "Mainland Tonight." Jess began studying improv and sketch comedy through the Women in Comedy scholarship at TIC in 2023, whilst also acting and writing in the 70th anniversary of the historic  "Law Revue" at the Comedy Republic. Jess wrote, produced and starred in their Melbourne International Comedy Festival debut show "Girt By Sea" in 2025, and continues to write and perform comedy with TIC's CHURN program. They are also a Master of Screenwriting graduate from the Victorian College of the Arts, a participant of VicScreen's Key Talent Placement Register, and professional dork in all aspects of life.
