Matthew Thompson

Matthew Thompson is a comedy writer/performer and filmmaker.  You may know him from his featured artwork in The Wiggles magazine in 2002. But outside of that, his most recent project won the Audience Choice Award at the 2026 Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s Funny Shorts competition. You can catch him writing and performing in the house sketch show Churn as well as other indie sketch teams. He also performs with his improv team “Dangerous People with Nothing to Lose.”
