When Victoria finished high school and began her Gap Year she found herself in a world too big and too scary to face. (‘How do you make decisions for yourself?? Will people really notice if I don’t iron my clothes?? Which superannuation company should I choose?? What excuse can you use if you don’t want to go out with friends when you can’t use ‘my mum said I can’t’ anymore?? HOW DO YOU USE AN ATM??’)
Victoria decided to take some ‘me time’ in order to cope but eventually grew bored of TV and Disney movie marathons. She realised the only way to face the world was to dive in head-first. Immediately Victoria began volunteering, working and tutoring. All the while on her pin-board in her room was a piece of paper labelled ‘Improv Conspiracy Level 1’. This had been purchased only because it wasn’t for another month and she could put it somewhere she never looks and forget about it until the last minute.
When the time came around Victoria had to be brave and attended the class that would lead to so much more than she imagined.
Victoria has always loved to perform and has been part of the Children’s Performing Company of Australia (CPCA) throughout her school years. Victoria is extremely proud to be part of the Improv Conspiracy and has great love and admiration for her fellow Bass Drum Kittens.
Victoria looks forward to what the New Year brings in her academic and performing adventures.
