House Sketch Night
With a name like The Improv Conspiracy, you might expect that we always make things up on the spot, but sometimes our ideas are so big and bold that they deserve to be written down and rehearsed!
House Sketch Night is our monthly celebration of sketch comedy, in the Chicago-style pioneered by The Second City, Upright Citizens Brigade, and other theatres.
Every month, two of our house sketch teams each create a brand new ensemble sketch show from scratch, combining to bring you an hour of completely original comedy (and even the occasional song or video). Four weeks of work goes into something that you only have one chance to see. Hype much?
Props, costumes, lighting, tech... you don't get these at our usual improv shows!
