Come along to the first-ever BIPOC Jam & Social Mixer!
This event is for TIC community members (students and alumni) who identify as Bla(c)k, Indigenous or People of Colour to give people the chance to meet, chat and play with people you may not have met before.
It will be a very low-pressure and relaxed evening, kicking off with a complimentary drink on arrival at 6pm to give you a chance to chat and meet some people before the Jam at 6:30pm. At the conclusion of the Jam, there will be snacks provided and the TIC bar will be open exclusively to Jam attendees to continue the fun and mingle with your jam peers!
What is a Jam?
A Jam is a fun, inclusive space for you to get up on stage and improvise!
Put your name in the Jar for your chance to be pulled up on stage to make some improvised comedy magic based on an audience suggestion. If that sounds daunting, don't worry – you'll be paired with some established improvisers who will take great care of you.
There is no pressure at all to put your name in the Jar and get on stage - you are welcome to just watch from the audience!
Participation in the Jam & Social is exclusive to BIPOC Members of our community, but anyone is welcome and encouraged to watch the Jam!
Presented by The Improv Conspiracy Diversity & Inclusion Committee
We would like to acknowledge the traditional owners and custodians of the land on which this event takes place, the Boon Wurrung and Woiwurrung People of the Kulin Nation. We pay our respects to Elders past and present and acknowledge that sovereignty was never ceded.

Sorry about that, we'll hopefully have more listed soon
