"Yooo I’m back in Melbinnn for the first time since 2019 and I’m teaching another 5 day creating and devising workshop. Here you will learn how to harness all of god's secret mystical powers and become a master of the craft. That’s right, a 100% Zach Zucker GUARANTEE or I’ll quit my job. I’ll stop teaching right now. literally. while you’re reading this. You might think I’m joking but I’ve got tenure now. go ahead, try and stop me.

Nah but for real we’ll spend the week discovering what makes you funny and turning that into something that’s repeatable. We're all funny in very different ways, and each person has something that nobody else can offer. By identifying and embracing those attributes, we're able to freely explore with an audience. Each student will have the opportunity to work on solo, duo or group material, with an opportunity to perform onstage at the end of the week in a class show that puts my entire reputation and life’s work on the line.

sign up... if you dare."

Student showcase performance: there will be a student showcase performance on the evening of Friday December 1 – most likely at Theory Bar. Specifics to be confirmed.

Guest instructor notice: this workshop is taught by a visiting independent artist, not a usual member of The Improv Conspiracy Theatre's teaching staff. While we trust that it will be a fantastic experience for all involved, please note that we do not directly control their curriculums, classroom protocols, etc. Additionally, our standard policy on course deferrals for internal credit does not apply, as the instructor may only be in town for an extremely limited period of time – please consider all bookings to be final.

Capacity notice: this workshop is capped at 20 participants, as opposed to our usual 16.
