Performance 2: World Building - Term 4 2026 - Tuesday
Congratulations, your stand alone scenes are refined! Now it's time to learn how to connect scenes meaningfully in a shared world and cohesive piece of theatre.
You'll learn how to create satisfying characters and gratifying arcs and many of the tools that allow us to expand a single suggestion into 30 minutes of material.
Once we have first beats down, we'll work on ways to bring themes, games and characters back in our second and third beats.

Instructor Profile
Edward Chalmers
Edward Chalmers has trained in improvisation for a number of years with with The Improv Conspiracy, Chicago's iO Theater, and the Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre in New York. Among other shows he currently performs on our house Harold team Carol and as part of the improv duo Chilton-Chalmers.
