After being away from Melbourne for the best part of fifteen years, the desire for a decent coffee grew overwhelming and forced Mick’s return. He quickly realised that the trade off for a quality long black was the weather, and has since invested heavily in the woolen garment industry.
While on foreign shores, Mick has been lucky enough to train and perform with UCB, WGIS, WEimprov, The Pack Theater, iO and Second City amongst others, as well as with a whole bunch of great teachers and performers generous enough to share their knowledge and time. He’s been part of improv festivals such as DCM and LAIIF, played with some super fun teams, and performed improv on stages, in lounge rooms and one time in a cloak room in Chelsea for a free drink. That is also the most he has ever been paid for improv.
